I have the ability to sample many of the finest bourbons available to make the perfect blend for each Blood Oath Pact,&#8221; says Rempe. <\/p>\n<p>Each year comes with an exquisite new expression or &#8220;Pact&#8221;, as Rempe calls them. Pact No. 7 is the 2021 release with 17,000 cases produced in total. Rempe is secretive about the exact blend, but it contains 3 Kentucky straight bourbons: a 14-year-old rye bourbon, an 8-year-old rye bourbon, and an 8-year-old rye bourbon that was finished in Sauternes casks. It&#8217;s these French white wine casks that bring additional fruity notes to the profile with an exquisite balance of sweetness and spice.
