Ardbeg is a famous distillery that lies on the southern coast of the island of Islay. Notorious for producing some of the boldest and most robust Scotch whisky in the industry, the distillery that was founded in 1815 is known for its smoky single malts. Each year, we see several limited-edition expressions arrive from the distillery, ranging from outrageous to simply outrageously tasty. Ardbeg BizarreBQ is a collaboration with Christian Stevenson (DJ BBQ). The barbecue-inspired-Scotch had Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden collaborate with Stevenson.

Tasting Notes

The nose is smoky with charcoal soot, wood, herbs, and spices. Lok for smoked ham, toffee, and a touch of espresso, along with a hint of citrus and seared meat. The palate is spicy with BBQ ribs, grilled steak, smoke, chili, clove, leather, ginger, and aniseed.
