Wilkes Winery in the Paso Robles Highlands District of California. A beautiful, rich mahogany color, teasing with hints of dark chocolate, toasted oak, and dried fruit. Savor the bold caramel and vanilla notes that soon give way to a fruity medley of pear, apple, cherry, and red currant. A complex, lingering blend of nutmeg, clove spice, and a bright cranberry tartness with a hint of black pepper.
