Don Julio 1942 Rosada Tequila is derived from the finest blue agave plants, carefully cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Each agave is hand-selected at the peak of maturity, ensuring optimal flavor and quality. The piñas, or hearts of the agave plants, are slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens, allowing the sugars to caramelize and develop a distinctively smooth and nuanced taste. Following the cooking process, the agave juice is fermented and then double-distilled in small, copper pot stills.
