It was 1994, and the Serrallés family decided they wanted to deliver something quite unforgettable for their 150th anniversary. They blessed their sixth-generation distiller Roberto Serrallés to hand-select some time-honored charred American white oak barrels from their oldest warehouses. When a formidable 20 years passed, they picked the best samples from those 36 barrels and aged them some more to really balance out the aromas and create a truly intricate blend. And they did — so much so that it has been compared to the elegance of a Cognac. This masterpiece only comes in 1,865 bottles, a number that matches the company’s birthdate. As a special limited-edition, this gem is pretty hard to get, but that is not its only allure — it is also a wonderful mash of fruit, vanilla, and oaky notes harmonized to perfection.

Tasting Notes
This amber beauty opens with aromas of butter, nuts, caramel, and rich spices on the nose. The palate is greeted with velvety and bright notes of fruit, oak, and vanilla, harmonized to perfection. The finish is very long, leaving you with an aftertaste of dried fruits, cherry cola, and creme brûlée.
