This whiskey is celebrating Coy Hill, the highest-elevated rolling hill on the Jack Daniels Distillery property. Because of its high elevation, Coy Hill is exposed to the most extreme weather conditions that result in rich molasses and concentrated barrel spice. The whiskey is demonstrating perfectly how the location of the distillery can bring out some of the deepest and most complex flavors. Jack Daniels goes one step further in ensuring layers of complex flavor on this special release, bottling it in its purest form straight from the barrel, with only minimal filtration.

Tasting Notes

The nose leads with spice and oak, followed shortly by milk chocolate and crème brûlée. The palate is hit with cinnamon, butterscotch, mince pie, and baking spices. Water brings out coffee cakes, bitter chocolate, and toasted oak. A spicy finish.
